Hot Wheels started a promotion over the weekend where if you buy 20 basic Hot Wheels at a participating KMart, you get a free 69 Chevelle SS 396. I ended up with this:

Awesome! Out of curiosity, are you planning on opening the Chevelle when you get it? If so, do you have any that you like to keep in the package? I'm only asking because it will come with a protective plastic shell over the whole card, and if you won't be needing it I would gladly pay shipping and/or trade you for it. I have a few 20-year-old+ cars which I'm terrified are going to break free on their own if I don't get them into something. :P

Honestly, I'm not sure. I never worried about keeping them in the packaging when I only had a few. Now that I'm diving into collecting them, I kinda regret not keeping them sealed. To make it worse, I have to mail the packaging for 20 of these to get the Chevelle, so I have no choice but to open them. If I decide to open up the Chevelle, I'll let you know.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I have all 20 of mine sitting on my desk just waiting for me to finally break down and open them.

But yeah, don't feel obligated by any means. I know I would never open one of the mail-ins, but some people do and I'm sort of jealous of how they can do that without feeling any guilt.

I did actually lol. unfortunately you can't bring your dog into Kmart and it was about 7 degrees out so I couldn't leave him in the car.
